This is a song about how beauty can be defined in countless ways. It’s not limited to one gender, race, or even social construct, so nobody should hide themselves behind a mask of shame or guilt only to appease others.

I knew a girl
Who changed herself to fit into a box
She stripped away
Layers of herself so she could look like Goldilocks
But she felt lost
And knew she couldn’t live that fairytale
Then she realized
There was so much more to life than porridge bowls and curls

And she began to see
